Chia seeds pudding recipe

Chia seed pudding is a tasty and nutritious vegetarian food that is simple to prepare. Here’s a basic recipe for chia seed pudding It’s really simple to make and can be customised with different flavours and toppings to suit your tastes.


·      1/4 cup chia seeds

·      1 cup plant-based milk (almond milk, coconut milk, soy milk, etc.)

·      1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (adjust to your desired sweetness)

·      1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

·        Fresh fruits, nuts, or seeds for topping (optional)


1.   In a mixing bowl, combine the chia seeds, plant-based milk, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract. Stir well to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed.


2.   Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then give it another stir to prevent clumping of chia seeds. This step ensures that the chia seeds start absorbing the liquid.


3.   Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2-3 hours, or ideally overnight. During this time, the chia seeds will continue to absorb the liquid and form a pudding-like consistency.

4.   Before serving, give the chia seed pudding a good stir to break up any lumps that may have formed.

5.   Divide the pudding into serving glasses or bowls and top with your favourite fresh fruits, nuts, or seeds for added texture and flavor.
